They offer accommodations at the Estate House EXCLUSIVELY for Spruce Mountain couples, which gives you private access on the day of your wedding through the back gate! We had our wedding at Spruce Mountain in May 2023 and had a fantastic experience. Most of our friends and family, all 185 of them, were travelling in from out of state and we wanted to make sure we had a big venue that was accessible and showed off the beauty of Colorado. Spruce Mountain was perfect. We worked with Erin Mondragon and Tara Ames and they were incredible partners. Even when we had to move our ceremony indoors due to bad weather, we had the perfect day. This is John from the CO wedding/corporate band, HomeSlice. We have been playing weddings for over 20 years and have performed at most of CO’s top wedding venues all over the state. With that said, Spruce Mountain Ranch is our favorite! The staff and the venue are the best! The venue is in a gorgeous setting that is perfect for wedding photos. You get a destination wedding location without driving 3 hours into the mountains. The place is always immaculately clean and has always had everything functioning perfectly. The layout of the property allows both the upper and lower venues to have their own special ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception locations without the two different potential wedding parties on the ranch ever seeing or hearing each other. You get your own massive area to celebrate your day. Both the upper and lower venues are setup to incorporate indoor and outdoor spaces that flow together. If I was planning my daughter’s wedding, I would definitely try to grab the date at Spruce Mountain Ranch. As a wedding photographer, I have always enjoyed shooting at this gorgeous venue! The mountain views are incredible, there are multiple indoor and outdoor ceremony sites, and the expansive grassy fields create for perfect photo opportunities at every turn. The staff is friendly and makes sure that the weddings go by smoothly. I definitely recommend this venue to any couple in search of a venue that will make their wedding dreams come true!
